KATE WALLACE - CASE MANAGER

Kate was one of the first alumni to have transitioned from Lilypad Living into independent living. After being homeless Kate reached out for help through the collaborative courts and was connected to the outreach programs in San Joaquin County. This is where Kate’s recovery journey began. Upon completing other programs Kate joined the Lily Pad Living family. Kate believes that during her time at Lilypad Living she was able to develop the ability to trust and love herself and other people again. She believes she would not be who she is today if she were not given the opportunity to have a safe, loving, kind, and warm place to live that allowed for her to be surrounded by a group of women who understood her pain and her potential.

She is committed to her community and has obtained her degree in psychology and is currently working on her master’s degree at Stanislaus State University. She plans to use her education and life experience at Lily Pad to support, strengthen, and help people find their truth and potential in society. Her goal is to reach and encourage people with my compassion, experience, strength, and hope so that they can find their truth in the journey of recovery.
